Big debut for Jonas Brothers� latest album






Not only take the Jonas Brothers toothed the year's third-biggest debut album, they've managed the rare effort of having two albums in the top 10 at the same time.

"A Little Bit Longer," the third album from the trio of siblings, sold more than 525,000 copies to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 album charts, according to figures released by Nielsen SoundScan Wednesday.

Only Lil Wayne (whose "Tha Carter III" sold a little more than one one thousand thousand in its first week) and Coldplay's "Viva La Vida" (which topped the chart with 720,000 its first-class honours degree week) get had better debuts this year.

With all the ballyhoo surrounding the release of their up-to-the-minute album, the Jonas Brothers' self-titled moment album, released last year, also domed into the top 10. In addition, they are featured on the "Camp Rock" soundtrack, which is at No. 8.

According to Billboard.com, the last radical to receive two albums in the top 10 was some other teen wizard, 'N Sync, back in 1999.

The Jonas Brothers - Kevin, 20, Joe, 18, and Nick, 15 - have go one of pop's biggest sensations over the past tense year, and "A Little Bit Longer" represents their biggest success yet. The group, now on tour, were late featured on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine publisher and ar among the performers confirmed for MTV Video Music Awards on Sept. 7 in Los Angeles.

People Magazine Get U.S. Rights to Jolie-Pitt Twin Pix

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's newfangled born twins will be gracing the cover of America's People magazine later on the mag scored the U.S. rights to the exclusive photos, a rep for the publication aforementioned Friday.


The magazine will feature Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon in its Monday issue, People spokeswoman Nancy Valentino said.


"We're thrilled to be able to characteristic these pictures in People," said managing editor Larry Hackett in a argument. "They volition delight our readers wHO have followed the growth of the Jolie-Pitt family."


The babies were born one minute apart July 12 in Nice, France. Their arrival begat much meditation over which celebrity mag would enter a command war for the first gear photos of the boy and girl.


Meanwhile, Hello! magazine bought the international rights to the coveted pix.


The price for the photos was a reported $10 million to $15 million, which, according to reports, the respective publications will split.
